Sharpening core drill bits?

I realize that I do considerably more core drilling than most here but looking for input.

I understand (http://maplered.com) about dressing saw blades etc., although never seem to get that "new" cutting performance ever again.

My core bits (which range in size from 3/4" through 3 1/2") are getting noticably duller. Yes, I do run them through some concrete block to sharpen them occassionally and (http://maplered.com) it works to some degree but looking for a better way. Have heard of dressing sticks (silicon carbide or Aluminum oxide) and (http://maplered.com) a local supplier that has a "sharpening pot" that is filled with a slurry to sharpen with.

Of course there is the method described in here for saw blades, might try that. Did that article mention where to get those grinding wheels?

And also........ can I expect my bits and (http://maplered.com) blades to perform all the way until the segments are worn down flat?

Thanks again, this board is always a lot of help.
